Chess Play

Velvet white room,
Heartless window,
Such a satire
Of a desired good time.

Bed on stilts,
With heart's desire.
She came close,
My eye's admire.

In the dark cave,
Through the forest,
Softer water fall,
In dark space.

Steep desire,
Close encounter
She's forsaken,
Im forgotten.

Facade castle,
Her Trojan horse.
My heart's desire,
Back on the floor.

The continuous flow was great. And some words hit home for me. Great job.

I really like this! The title caught my attention, and I enjoyed reading your poem. The opening stanza, and I love your choice of descriptive words "velvet room" "heartless window" .. it foreshadowed the ending.

    Well done! =)
