Oh wow, this piece is terrific. Of all the common love type poems this one seems very unusual. I mean it is well written, but it is unique, and well done. It is magnificently penned piece and I think it makes a wonderful impression upon the reader (audience). The word choice is marvelous and the description is stupendous. 5/5 And I look forward to reading some of your other works as well.

This is how I understood it.

Love is like a jagged bright street,
That runs through a darkness that is not complete
On either side you will find a black abyss,
One that will crush your heart and quench your bliss
You will know that the love you feel cannot be,
for equal affection you will never see

---- I agree with this stanza. Love can be really painful specially when there is only one that loves and the other one that doesn't.
And also, its sad when there is a one sided love.

But know that on the outskirts it is not so bad,
You can go about your day without feeling sad
Grey is the color that surrounds you here
where being late is the worst you can fear
You cannot help but wonder: why would anyone fight,
when being in this Grey is prefectly alright?

--- hum,, now this one stanza confused me. so you mean that being in a one sided love is not so bad after all. Because there won't be any breakups and no fights about love.

Only when you are in the center will you know
what warmth and beatitude that love can bestow
But know that your path is never staight,
It will always twist and turn to Fate
But it does not matter, for when love is,
you will be in a costant state of bliss

----Only when someone is in a relationship were both sides love each other thats when one can finally know how bless they are with the love they are given. But one should be aware that it might change, it depends on destiny. But it will not matter if the relationship ended because there will be someone for everyone and when one is in love there is just happiness.

Wow, you included everything in this short piece. definitively 5/5

Thank you both so much for the feedback!

You understood it correctly Everlasting, and I love that.
The second stanza is a bit ambiguous and is my personal view on love. You are in the Grey area when you do not love anyone, and you simply don't mind and don't really think about it. I recognize myself in this one since it was the one I was in just two years ago. It's perfectly alright and I never felt as if I missed something big. However, as soon as I started getting feelins and moved closer and closer to the pitch-black darkness that surrounds the brightness of love.
You really have to fight your way through all the doubt and hope that the one you love, loves you back. Or you'll be stuck in the black abyss.

I like this. I agree with what you had written in description about it. Love is like a jagged street, it can take you anywhere, it can bring you to where you want/who you want to be, or it can bring you to sudden cliff and shove you off.
    I Loved this.

Easy to follow, the only thing that shook me was the word "beatitude" which i had to look up. i like how its used, but some of the less educated ( such as me) might have trouble with that particular bit. again no real need for revision there, anyone with an internet connection can figure out what it means. I definitely like the perspective that the poem takes, sort of dabbling in love but also attempting to portray, somewhere between enjoying, advising others to enjoy, and doing a scientific study on enjoying love. well done
