This poem is very sad and there's definitely a lot of emotion present in the words.

The words itself are painful to suggest emotional pain being inflicted such as Heart Crushing and burning.

I was wondering - I don't know if I am taking this the right way but when you say "Yet you don't want me to show my face"... do you mean this in the literal aspect?

If so that just breaks my heart more!
