A little spark...

With just a simple spark,
my heart is renewed,
I can't believe I'm saying this,
but I'm still in love with you.

A five hour conversation,
two people falling back in love,
you're still an angel,
sent from above.

We laughed and giggled,
talked about how we felt,
I really didn't want you to know,
that talking to you again, my heart melt.

You still are the best part of me,
as we talked, our hearts still connect
when I was sitting there listening,
my heart still whispers, "Perfect"

Just a simple phone conversation,
has made me turn into a giggling man,
dreaming that we should be together,
hoping that you understand.

I love you so much,
won't you please come home,
my heart is missing you
and painfully alone.

    Wow Matt this poem is so sweet! I love how you started it off with "with just a little spark" .. it really reminded me of sweet moments that we cherish as we get older... (soon I will be old like you LOL! JK =D) but it was just really nice... I love the idea of a rekindle love... it's that dream situation anyone would want from someone they really loved... and your portrayed this amazing feeling in your poem. Great job!! =D
