Living Off The Silence

by Jenna Bella Oldridge   Nov 27, 2011

I could break you with my truth
Turn your whole world upside down
I could change your life with my honesty
My secrets could burn holes in your reality
I could scar you deeper than I could ever scar myself
If I open up I could drown you
I could take you down
Turn your dreams to nightmares
And make your smiles a frown
You couldn't survive my confessions
My silence is all that keeps you alive

    This poem is great!

Raw and emotional. This can easily be seen

As I was reading it, I felt like it was a warning to this person who could potentially or already has hurt you. A sort of don't mess with me type of poem.

The name of the poem also drew me in!

    Well done

    Short and sweet!!

This poem's category is sad but i saw it as a dark one.
The poem is self explain, but it says a lot.
I don't want to be the person to whom this piece is dedicated to.
This is just more than my heart could have take.
