I found you

by Hollow Face   Nov 27, 2011

As I am turned away yet again
a part of my heart wears away
and fades into the ebony depths
of the shadow inside of me.

But a boy comes along
and restores the shriveled part of my heart.
He makes it fruitful once more,
replenishes its lively pulse.

The other people jeer and laugh.
They think we should not be
they bombard us with torments and curses
but we don't care.
Their loathsome voices die around us
as we become one

Together, we shall travel
through storm or fire
through plague of drought
we will last it out
for we are one.

As we voyage through the waters of our wildest dreams
I see pale, wan faces
staring at us with undeniable greed.
And deep inside,
I know that they are just lonely
for they do not have you by their side.
