She was only fourteen.

by Bridget   Jun 24, 2004

Why did you take my daughter?
How twisted is your mind?
She was only fourteen.
She was so young and kind.

She did you no harm.
She wasn't doing wrong.
She was on her way to school.
The walk isn't that long.

But you cornered her in that alley.
She was so scared, was crying.
So, you decided to stab her.
Then you left my baby dying!

You didn't even rob her.
I just don't understand why.
You just did it for no reason.
And left a girl to die.

( I'm not sure about this poem, but I have posted it anyway. )
