I really like the modern-ness of this poem, how you brought in the text messaging instead of saying something more traditional like letters. But I guess that's because this really did happen to you.. so you used text messages, because she really did text you. I just think it makes it a little less cliche than some poems that are over exaggerated with over-used ideas.

I thought the flow and rhyming were both great, except for some reason the very last line didn't rhyme as great for me. ...Hmm. But when I read it again, it sounds fine. So it's probably just me. Haha.

I also think this poem is easy to relate with. I always comment on how easy poems relate with people, because I think it's important for the reader to be able to get the same emotions you had when you were writing it. It makes it where the reader connects with the poem and with the poet also.

Sooo. Overall, great poem! :]
