Petals Fall

by Deana   Nov 29, 2011

Petals Fall
Harsh reality steals the peace
Wind-up toys that never cease
Fears within the heart increase
Pray for peaceful slumber

Ice halts the rivers flow
Chilly winds begin to blow
Frozen earth, layered in snow
Rest beside the fire

Confusion rules the troubled mind
Hopefulness one can not find
Waiting for the power of time
Heal the heart with love

One by one they touch the ground
Floating soft without a sound
Lost illusions never found
Petals from the white rose fall....like hidden tears they fall.

This gave me chills, really ties in with the emotions and rough time you're going through. May you have the strength to get through this. There are so many beautiful memories you will always have. Stay strong & I hope things get better soon for you Deana.

    Aw Deana..

I can only imagine how you must feel. To have the gift of writing such wonderful verses at times like these will hopefully give you some comfort, along with knowing we care for you.

I hope time will heal your heart with love and that you love him enough to let him free, free to be with God and with the knowledge you will be alright. You will make it through, Deana..I just know you will.

Feel free to contact me, whenever you feel lost or confused*hugs*

Beautiful poem, I liked how you worded your feelings..may your heart be at peace soon.

    5/5 Ingrid
