Burned Chances

by xoxShorteexox   Nov 30, 2011

I fell into every word that you said,
just like Alice in falling into wonderland,
every lie you fed, I ate like it was true,
you were a love spell that kept me high.

If this was meant to be something real,
then you ruined the chances of that.

You could have slept with a different girl,
every night and I'd believe your innocence,
with each lie you said, I fell a little deeper,
the moment I saw you that day with her.

I felt as if my heart had just ripped out,
you burned it with jealousy and hatred.

So as I'm finally ripping away the lies,
finding all the truths I let go on straight on by,
the lies were a piece of hell, but so was loving you,
I'm still not sure what's real and what's not.

The moment you walked into my life with her,
you changed the whole love storyline I wrote.

Wow, adding to my favorite poems list for sure!

this shows how much pain he caused you, how much you loved him. How good he was at decieving you. Then seeing him with that girl brought all lies to truth & made u see the light. That hes not worth it

    love it ahhh :)
