My Darkness

The darkness that has fallen over me,
Feeding me endless pain.
The light i never will see,
Shadows holding me by chains.
No one here to help me,
Or even a hand to hold.
Not even my constant pleas,
Will save me from my withering soul.
What have i done to deserve this?
This hell,
That has taken me whole.
Will i ever exist?
Have I lost total control?

My veins run black,
With poison strong & thick.
It feeds on my life,
seeping in the cracks.
God, will this just be over quick?

What have i become?
No spirit or mind.
Will my time ever come?
Or does this evil have me entwined?
