L.T.C. aka The Godfather

L.T.C. aka The Godfather

It is amazing that this Attorney of Law
Has left us speechless and in awe
If he were a judge in a long black robe
We would swear he had the patience of Job
The other day I would have felt pretty lame
When he gave me a hint of his middle name
If I had guessed it was Crapper
It would have been a knee slapper
He would have laughed with me
God bless humility

Abby's contest created a wirlwind and also a wirlpool of humor

    A lonely soul ( F C D ) at 2011-12-11

Michael and odd humor go together.
The first part was easy to get.
The second part about "crapper", I had to scratch my head, and God that made me laugh..... What in the world is the connection here Michael?
(Popular wisdom attributes the derivation of this slang term for lavatory to Thomas Crapper (1836 - 1904), the supposed inventor of the flush toilet. Unfortunately, Thomas Crapper didn't invent the flush toilet.)

It was also interesting to learn the origin of the words crap, crappy, crappping - from Mr. Crapper and his supposed invention.

Were you feeling like crap Michael? If so I can understand that, some days I do too.L.T.C. aka The Godfatherby Michael D Nalley

To this day I have not pressured Larry to reveal his true middle initial
    God bless humility

The crapper line was inspired by Larry's post following my post that my toilet poem was ready
in the wirlwing dance Larry responded "that" is my middle name after this poem was first posted Thomas Crapper

Thomas Crapper had a warrant that would make us blush
He was said to invent something that we all would flush
Like a king he sat on what some call a royal throne
In his privy where he desired only to be alone
Can you think of a more comfortable place to sit
When nature calls and you just have to answer it?
