The angels brushed beauty into the trees
The comforting colors mingle with the breeze

The evening skyline bursting with a vibrant collage of luminescence
The storybook, fairytale sky of folklore and reminiscence

A clear cool brook trickles into a sweet soothing serenade
Dusk settles in and covers all with a blanket of shade

Moonlight flows like a quiet still stream
Nature hums the soft melodies of a dream

The dew glistens as the grass listens to twilights beautiful song
Then I think about what I've been thinking about all along

My hearts been able to notice things like this again
Ever since I was lucky enough for you to become my friend
