Succubus that I adore!

by Dmun   Dec 4, 2011

In loving you and your grin,
that wicked smile above your chin,
enthralling eyes, that piercing look,
that heart of mine you came and took!

I've doomed myself 'till the end of days,
appeasing to your wicked ways,
To hell and back, I'm diving in,
on command of every whim!

Tending to my wounds, I wonder
if you'll keep me as your lover.
Damn your nature, I know you see,
it's something special; you and me.

Worlds apart, I know the score
and that accursed oath I swore,
our love is poison, it can't be cured,
but damn the pain, it feels so good!

So let me in, as you once had,
your foolish metal viking cad
and hold me tight forever more,
you succubus that I adore!

I really enjoyed reading this poem because it flows really well, not only because the amount of syllables in each verse is about the same, but also because of your rhymes, which were quite interesting as it is too. Your choice of words create a nice atmosphere that reflects the emotions of the speaker very well. Overall I think that this is a very well penned poem.
