This poem is really captivating and that is mainly because your emotions shine through so well. I do not think that it always flows smoothly, but that is okay.
You're right about the message you convey though. You are who you are and you should not change for other peoples satisfaction. Keep up writing!

Thank you so much Jenni for that comment. Unfortunately I did have to endure this but I have grown from it and I am stronger. I try as hard as I can to make my poems shine as bright as my emotions do.

Thanks for this poem.. twas kinda touchin and i can relate. but one thing I learned... You can't love without loving yourself first.. It's like, you can't give what you don't have.. just held your head high and smile all the time.. great job!

Made me cry... I've been picked on before for my sexuality and it is useless and ridiculous
