Where Thanatos meets Eros

by Karla   Dec 7, 2011

She feels it:
waters bend,
blackberries and cherries trickle out of
the corner of her mouth.
Thanatos meets Eros
and everything is beyond the pleasure principle.

She feels it.
She fills it
as she affirms her will to live
destroying, destroying what is indestructible,
swimming in shipless oceans
suspended between life and death.

What is the ephemeral nature of flesh but contradiction and redemption? What else does she want?

The awareness of her own body extends beyond
the body's boundaries. Another dimension engulfs her:
she feels it again and again,
discovering her self, existing in an unknown singleness.

She is complete.

I dont know how you bring such magic to the table for our hungry eyes to feast on dear Karla but this was very filling!

Suspended between life and death, and the bodys boundaries are very captivating too.

    Very awesome as always Love,

    Interesting..

Is this about some mythology? I think I recall something 'bout that..

Anyway, I enjoyed. I can relate that to the linkage of souls of gods.. I don't know, I think I found it very spiritual, and the alliteration in the second stanza got me going.

And some nature elements made it alive, well, it is.... in all the elements.

The questions too are spices.. I really enjoyed.:)
