Santa in Alabama-

by Jeff Weiner   Dec 7, 2011

I heard laughing I heard cheer
I heard a sliding on my rooftop tier,
going out I went to see
what was this noise that scared me,
it was a heavy set man dressed in red
that got me up and out of my bed,
looking up I could see
my drunken neighbor laughing at me,
looking down he then said
how do I get down without cracking my head?
the same way you got up
I told him then,
and you better not go up there again.
a jolly fat man is coming to see me,
he was already here my friend said
I took his coat and toys, and sled,
then told him he tried to rob the wrong home.
and I ate those yummy deer down to the bone
