Butterflies for Your Belly

Not fireflies...burning

Not hornets...stinging

Butterflies

You give me Butterflies

In my Belly, my Center

the Seat of my Soul

Butterflies

Lifting. Lilting

Fluttering. Tickling

Giddy. Smiling. Happy

Butterflies

Alas, This it seems

Is my only means

Of bringing to you

Butterflies

May they tickle and charm

Frolic and bring no harm

And remind you of Love these

Butterflies

Rub your belly

Laugh and feel silly

In you, my Heaven, dance
