ANGER IN DEGREES

by Kips2.0   Dec 8, 2011

We all have a speck of anger in us,
which comes in different degrees;
while some may endure huge temptations,
others react to the slightest irritations.

The ability to control anger,
depicts the level of maturity;
while some may find it inevitable,
others find it to be easily avoidable.

Anger takes place within a short moment,
but it leaves behind devastating effects;
its aftermath is always excruciating,
it's important to put it under control.

We all have a speck of anger in us,
they come in different degrees,
and whenever the button is pressed,
it goes off and leaves an eyesore behind.

    'eyesore' is true with how you view it, but ultimately, it's the fact that when we flare up we make a mess of every other thing and sometimes hurt those people we'd rather not hurt if we had been patience.

    The repetition did you a favor here.

    "while some may endure huge temptations,
    others react to the slightest irritations."
    ---this actually made me laugh. It is true, but sometimes it depends on the situation a person is going through.

    "and whenever the button is pressed,
    it goes off and leaves an eyesore behind."
    ---I didn't really get this at first read. But perhaps 'eyesore' because when one is angry, we more or less frown, and it hurts the eyes.

    All in all, a great piece. Keep it up
