From one Broken heart to another

by Angelica   Dec 10, 2011

You broke me down into little piece, crumbled and left me on the ground like a bag of doritos.

Abandon, left for the millions of ants on the floor trying to figure me out like a rubiks cube.

Attempting to comprehend how to change my colors, like when rainfall creates rainbows..

Biting me from left to right, still I refuse to let them know how you left me on the floor like a broken vacuum.

Sucking air in but barely breathing, with a fake smile on my face to make it believing.

Starving, you came back around trying to tip-toe your way back into my life, thieving.

Realizing that you dropped something good, you came to pick it back up and fix your mess.

But it was too late because while you were full, I got scooped up and swept away I must confess.

Everybody's sitting around waiting, like the church people wait on their preachers,

For the day I take you back but you've failed and there's no summer school with this teacher.

Another word, if you haven't comprehended so far,

if you were my drug than I am sober.
