Writing All These Words For You

Trying to release the feelings that weigh me down,
with so little luck on finding ways to express them.
when I talk to you, I seem to fall for you all over again,
fear of what could possibly go wrong if I told you this.

Staring at all the things I've written just for you,
without ever telling you they're all about my love.
Looking down at the tear stains that line the paper,
with a pen in my hand whispering the words to myself.

Wishing that I could speak all these lines to you,
as easily as they can be said to the empty room.
Singing all those sappy love songs that define you,
with every word I can feel my heart beat faster.

Here I am falling for you again just writing about you,
knowing I can never say this to you without stuttering.
With my pen and paper in my hand, I'll try to explain,
but I'll never tell you I wrote all these love poems for you.
