We wonder
as we search
look for the magic
exactly where does it lurch

That item some call Love
Some give a vow and swear
Some give a promise
It wont go anywhere

We can lie to anyone
but we cant to our self
We can place it away
For years left on that shelf

We wonder why
as we search everywhere
Is that magic love
with that one over there?

Most times we get going
way to fast
Our thoughts and minds
forget suddenly the past

When a brake is needed
a stop along the trail
Before we slip and fall
the relationship goes stale

We wonder as we search
For the magic that is called love
We search and dig as others tell
exactly what love consists of

It is not you but the other one
It is giving and no taking at all
It is accepting them as beautiful
It is most of not bought in a mall

It is showing only one thing
and it only lurks within
WE wonder as we search
When will it for us begin
