The Memories

It all happened on a dark day
she called me out to the road
she said"Do you trust me?"
of course I replied
she just stopped and lay down on the road
I told her to get off the road
she just laughed and started yelling chicken chicken
that's when I heard it...
I saw it before her,
she didn't see it,
the metal beast flying towards her
she tried jumped up out of the way
but it was to late,
I watched as her body bounced on the cab
then landed in a heap on road side
I didn't notice I was covered in blood,
her blood,
my baby girls blood,
the girl that I spent my school years
we were going to spend our lives together
but now my baby girls gone all
that's left is the memories.
