Forward or Backward

Should I go forward?
Should I go toward something new?
I don't know if I should go forward or backward!
If I go forward it will all be new,
Something I never knew!
It will be something I never felt,
Will it ever feel right?
It will be things I've never seen,
Will those things ever be seen?
I will meet people I never met,
Will they ever be seen?
How do I choose?

If I go backward it will all been done,
If I go backward I would know how it feels,
Do I want to feel the same?
It will be things I've seen,
Will it all be the same?
It will be people that I've known,
But do they know me?
If I go forward to the future it looks bright and scary!
If I go backward it'll be comfortable and easy!
Do I want to go somewhere I've never been?
Do I want to do the easy thing and feel things that I felt before?
I don't know how to choose; do you?
