This Dusty Old Table

Looking for
inspiration,
to write a poem
you will all love.

Inside my heart
or upon this dusty
old table,
so worthless.

Looking beyond
the cracks of time,
searching for
something beautiful.

Wishing for
a thought,
a picture
worth something.

Still all I see
is a dusty old
worthless table,
so pointless.

I looked harder,
into the grains
of lost time,
hand made and carved.

Names of lovers,
and so and so was here.
This old dusty table,
carries timeless memories.

    trying to find inspiration sitting at an old dusty table thinking nothing of it. But as soon as you look closer you see all the name of lovers.
