Horrid!

On this dark cold night,

I see a horrid sight,

A bright-eyed monster and silver claws

Peeking out of the corner, growling at me!

What is it, what is that i see?

A black filthy demon, a gray creepy thing?

Peeking out of the corner, hissing at me!

What is it, what is that i see?

A winged snake, a red-faced cannibal?

Or is it just an animal?

I see it! I see!

Slinking out of the shadows!

Is it..Is it..

A calico cat?
