Rainbow.

The years i have spent
The bridges i have burned
The tears i have cried
And all of the lies

They brought me here
To today
The present
The moment i never could have imagined

Love lost
Broken hearts
Forgotten promises
Painful nights

Back when it was all or nothing
Black and white
Either i win everything or loose it all in the end
I just couldn't see

Love brings pain
But out of pain love appears
Happiness leads to anger
But out of anger comes forgiveness

And in that forgiveness
I find hope
Hope for brighter days
And new love

Now i see that even in darkness there is still a light on somewhere
Though i lay in bed alone there is still someone laying alone who is thinking of me
Though i cry i know right around the corner there is someone who will hold me and wipe them away
And though my heart still aches deep inside, i have found someone to help put it back together

Perhaps nothing is forever
And maybe love will not always last
I may have tears left to cry
And a broken heart left to heal

But i am stronger now
I can stand alone
The storm may come and the rain may fall
But out of the lighting and thunder and pouring rain..

There will always come a rainbow.
