I'm Wearing A Ring

by Meme   Dec 15, 2011

I drew a plan and I settled
down, I think I have everything
I need. Every goal I set I have
already reached, I thought life
had nothing new installed for me.

Then a fresh breeze of air blew,
carrying your fragrance, it easily
captured my senses. Hypnotized,
I inhaled my first breath of sins that
lead me to a world of never ending
temptations.

Did you do it on purpose?
I cant find an answer. Yet I
convince my mind that it was
a lucky coincidence, so I allow
myself to think of you for one
last time before I admit to the
reality that I am wearing a ring.

A delicate and touching poem, nothing heavy yet powerful. Each line brought the reader a little closer to your inner feelings, making them open and beautiful

Girl, I swear you need to write a book with all your poems :). Each one gets better & better.

I love how his fragrance brings you into this world of spinning, wanting to just look at him. When finally remembering theres a ring on your finger.

    Love it

I thought I'd repay the favor of you commenting on one of my poems.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I read the title, but that was truly amazing. It really was a thought provoking poem.
