Memories

by Lonely Rider   Dec 16, 2011

Delightfully crafted,
unwinding in layers
of subconscious
-Memories-
And then,
Brutally snatched,
lost in hollow,
of daunting past.

Blank.

-Memories-
A Jig saw puzzle,
though missing
pieces few ,
but Brother,
don't you worry
we can always
paint some new.

**Dedicated to my kid brother, who lost a part of his memory few days back in an accident.

I am so sorry that this has happened to your brother.

Memory loss can be quite difficult. It is good though that he has survived the accident.

A lovely dedication to you brother. I hope he reads this

Very sad, but as he is very young, he should eventually do well. A youthful brain is very resilient to injury. Hopefully, he will have a full recovery, as retrograde amnesia tends to recover with time, as long as he does not have any significant brain damage such as impairment of other aspects of cognition, learning or forming new memories.

On a side note: sometimes we wish we can forget some of our past, but God has not given us that power, to keep just our good memories and forget our bad one's.
