Why am I so happy
what the hell does this mean
I guess we just weren't meant to be
haha, and you did it so clean.

You broke up with me over e-mail
so why does it make me smile?
I guess we were meant to fail
we lasted for such a little while

Why do you not see
I still want to be friends
even though you broke up with me
I don't want this to be where our friendship ends.

Why am i so delighted
to just see you go?
Why am I not frightened
why am I not feeling low?

I miss you
but only as a friend as we will be.
