Salted Down Beauty

by akay2remember   Dec 16, 2011

You sayI'm full of beauty,
you tell me I'm full of life.
You wonder why I think I'm dirt,
you wonder "What happend to her?"
"I wish you could see what I see"
Under my breath I repeat after you.
Feel what I feel...?
I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy,
with the excpetion of Him.
What happend to her is hell from deep down,
used, abused, and kicked around.
No light, she sees the world so dim.
She lived a nightmare for 15 years,
forced to grow and mautre
so young and she's already shed a lake of tears.
15 with a mind of an adult.
Lies were told, her life a horror,
she wasn't sure what she lived for.
The one thing she did know was that running her life was an evil cult.
He comes at night,
punishes her for onl He knows.
He calls it practice, she calls it rape.
"If only I could rip his heart out with a stake."
She's lost with words, her minds gone blank.
Maybe she'll just walk the plank.
Tell me how a girl can believe she's everything but worthless when that's all she's ever been told.
How can she truly know love
when all she's learned is hate.
Everyones heart is so fridgid and cold,
maybe there isn't destiny but only fate.
Her whole life she's been taught
she's ugly, worthless, only good for others fantacies.
She's been taught a world of lies, false love, and hate.
Hurting others, keeping distance is the only way she knows how to keep safe.
