Death is the one to blame...

by Masha2k   Dec 19, 2011

You never saw me grow up
From the little girl I used to be
To this lovely lady you're not here to see
When someone talks about their dad
It makes me very sad
The day death took you
I wasn't a day older than two
But when you were carried away
I cried begging you to stay
Little did I know
That it was the end of your show
You were now gone for eternity
Mom's still grieving
And cries when she thinks we can't see
Even though life moves on,
I still think about you all the time.
Our short memoris secured in my mind.
I'll stay strong for you
And help mommy get through

Xoxo

It really is a sad piece and it makes feel lucky and appreciate even more what I have. My parents. Thanks.

This poem is feel with emotions of sadness but it also shows that that little girl grew up to be strong and loves her mommy so much and also that she knows that her daddy is with her even though death is the one to blame for his abscence. But he is there guiding that little girl's steps. Well done.
