You forget the sound of my footsteps....
You say the email was lost over time....
You look the other way when I try to glance at your eyes...
You don't see how much I care for how you are....
You don't understand that I'm desperate...
You rush past me without calling my name....
You dismiss the presence we hold....
You no longer recognize me as a friend....
You lose my memory to someone much stronger.
