You are my muse, flowing through my veins
Hitting me hard, blurring my mind
The ecstasy to my tongue
The fixture of my emotions
I can't get enough
Who is that, deep in my thoughts?
I should know him, I should feel something
But
Nothing
A tear forms without control
A void is there, why?
A temporary fix
Behind closed eyes a phantom appears
So beautiful she will not wake
He captures her every essence
Peeling back her layers
Naked amongst his glare
He see's through her
She needs her muse, he holds in his hand
Grinning
Hatred fills her eyes; she will not be his toy
In his world of crystals and waterfalls
He releases her desire
One by one they softly sink into the crystalline beauty
She runs furiously to save her muse
Only for icy reflections to stare back at her
So cold and vivid she wants to wake from this nightmare
Her body begins to tremble
As she collapses to the ground
Tears freeze at the tips of her lashes
Her lips begin to fade blue
Her silken skin becoming clear
A puddle forms beneath her luke warm body
Cradling herself as she breathes pain
Opening her eyes she glimpses him
But cannot locate where his presence is
He stands grinning
As her heart slows the water warms
This dark beautiful icy world is melting
Then the pretty phantom appears
Lifting her lifeless body into his arms
He has wings and the most beautiful icy eyes to engulf a soul
She cannot speak as he leans down kisses her nose, and lingers upon her lips
"I had to wait for your barriers to melt for me to cross over, my love"
Then she knew she is in control to allow him into her heart
He gazes into her eyes "your heart with mine is warm now, no more ice"
She stroked his wings and kissed him deeply
Knowing no other faerie phantom could turn her world bright side up again
The trembles have faded, with his touch.
He is her anchor, the source to being saved.
"Forever" he whispers...
Then reality flooding back
Atop her tear drenched pillow
She whispers to the moon "and Ever, my pretty fae"
