Christmas Is Tomorrow

by believeinlove87   Dec 24, 2011

Christmas is tomorrow,
Five years without you here,
Seeing everybody celebrating the holidays,
Huge smiles pasted on their faces,
Unable to be happy around these days,
Its not the same without you.

Remembering the early mornings on Christmas day,
Jumping on your bed saying
"Mommy, Mommy! Get up, Christmas is here,"
Pulling you out of bed to go unwrap the presents underneath
the beautiful green tree, opening them as I
scream " Ahhh I love you mom, you're the best,"
Tears start pouring out my eyes as it hits me,
I can't spend it with you anymore.

Refusing to celebrate anything without you,
Knowing this was your favorite season,
Reminiscing about making gingerbread houses,
Late night last minute present shopping,
Surprising you with everything on your wish list,
Taking pictures of that beautiful smile on your face.

Christmas is tomorrow,
But to me its just another day of the year,
Can't bring myself to celebrate without you mom,
It just isn't the same anymore, it hurts to much,
Bringing you your favorite white roses whispering up
to you " If only you were here, Even if it was for a minute,"
Remembering all of our great memories of the past years,
As i silently wipe away my flowing tears.

This is so sad.. I can definitely relate. It's very hard to lose someone and when a season of merry-making comes along, it's very different without that person to celebrate. I'm sorry for your loss and it's great to bring out all the sadness to create this beautiful piece 5/5

Awww! So much love and sadness here. But, what Mommy would not want her child to be unhappy, for it will make her unhappy watching from above.

Enjoy the season of "giving", not "taking", so spread your cheer and shower your love to all the unlucky ones, who have very little in life. 'Tis the spirit of X'mas.

    Merry X'mas.
