Dancing Sisters of the Sea

by Maple Tree   Dec 28, 2011

Beyond the dark, where shadows fall
an ancient bell strikes three...
lizards smile, as potions form
for I and the witches of the sea...
calling out spirits, taunting their souls
urging their bodies to rise...
skeletal fingers, stroking twisted thoughts
right in front of our eyes...
dancing in circles, with oceanic ghosts
standing before thee, naked kisses a flight
typhoon waves of shipwrecked hosts
a witches dance, under full moon light...

Yes, dark and creepy but so cool! The flow is stunning. The word choice is magnificent. It is a terrific piece and I'm on my way to read more, because I love this piece. The creativity and emotion in the piece really pull it to greater depths than I would have imagined. Not to mention how enticing the piece is.

    5/5 of course.
