Su poema es muy hermoso Colm.
Beautiful poem Colm. Very imagetic and delicate as every piece you write.

    "by rusty swing
    and childlessness,"

I feel like something is missing here. Maybe be "a" rusty swing, or by rusty swingS? I read this a few times and it just wasn't reading right to me.

I love the use of 'soundtracking' - that was a really clever idea to add here

I love your poems for their descriptive nature. You literally set a scene and make the reader feel like they are truly there, seeing and experiencing everything you've seen or imagined. I love that. Love the idea of onion brown rather than the odd tan/brown color it is. Gave it the perfect scene.

Love the way you added 'secular', I thought it worked perfectly and just rolled off my tongue. :) Well done, as usual!

Amazingly penned; it was just like... floating off my tongue so beautifully, Colm.

As a former resident of New Mexico, I was hoping to be reminded of home in some way. But this reminds me more of an acid trip than anything I recognize as "home" --where the wind "glowers," and chain-linked fences spit out "supermen" who fly toward dead picket fences, and horses produce "secular" flicks of their tails. Nice imagery, but very abstract.

I look forward to your translation of this (if there is one. :)

Wow. Your fancies are amazing. I can picturesque the imagery of your poem. I really love the flow even it was written in a free lance poem.

    while Palomino gave
    secular flicks of his tail
    and looked about ready
    to pass on.
He would be going back to you,
    he sensed how I was
    foetal, he knew
    I wasn't you -
    and, in musky
    encroaching dusk,
    I shrouded myself
    a little closer
    to her
    onion-brown blanket.

The ending part is awesome, too. Well, guess..this one will put into my fav list of poem. I don't know but for me this a touchy poem..so much love it:))
    Great work!
