Nature's Cry

Mother Nature sing me a song
Mother Nature tell me whats wrong?
Mother Nature I hear your cry...
I feel your pain drip from the sky.

I see the anger flare from your sun.
Mother Nature what have I done?
Mother Nature I feel your quake.
I'm humbled by your mighty shake.

I took , I took and never gave back!
and this is why you put on your act.
I threw trash on you and showed disrespect...
but yet you held me up and with your best.

You provided life through all your seeds.
But i still took more, more than I need.
you gave me stuff for me to enjoy.
But yet i still destroyed, destroyed.

For I lay in sorrow for what I have done.
Please free me up under your sun.
I'll plant my feet into your ground.
and hear your beat the internal sound.

I'll hear the roar of ancestral might.
and dance with the sun into the night.

    Thanks for the criticism and thoughts on my poem. I will try and implement what you recommended, its very helpful. And you hit the nail on the head because I wrote this to help us remember how precious our earth is and to try and take care of it, while it takes care of us. Again, thanks and i'm glad u enjoyed ; )
