Self Annihilation

by Beautiful Chaos   Dec 30, 2011

Maybe I never stopped bleeding
After all
Sometimes it's the wounds you can't see,
that become the death of us

The bitter, throbbing
little scars
That bathe our souls in regret
Our hearts in ice

My humanity frozen
Encapsulated in my shame
Frosted mirrors of resentment,
capturing my spirit

Locked in a cage,
where you demoralized me
Where I demoralized myself
A glutton for your punishment
