Loving Feel, Luring Appeal

by Robert Hamilton   Dec 31, 2011

Loving feel, luring appeal
Piercing eyes, oh so wise
A tongue so sharp, that it can clip tin
So many that want you, now let the fun begin

Tearing apart, discarding hearts
No truth only lies, yours a perfect disguise
You can't let them know, the true soul inside
If they catch a glimpse, you run to hide

Inviting scent, never relent
You make quite a dent, every penny spent
You can't be happy, until they are all but depleted
And you move on to the next, once again it's repeated

Cold empty heart, it was from the start
Efficient machine, destroyer extreme
Feeling no guilt, you show no remorse
One thing for certain, you'll suffer yours in due course

Foot note:

This is not a personal poem or about anyone in particular...It's just created out of thin air...a spur of the moment type poem
