Way of This Love.

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 2, 2012

Does love arrive with a storm
or fly onto me with silent grace?
Does love leave with a strike
or echo back a goodbye
that has me wearing your gaze
(for those nights when snow comes
and stays on the roads, nothing can
melt, my heart remains a frozen stone
of memories....)
Which way do I take now?
Do I blow you a kiss with my hands
or my lips....or do I accept the part
of being your friend (and only shaking
your hand in congratulations)?
Do I even dare to imagine
that you will see a new essence of my love
when I look across your face?
Whatever way this will take,
I may never know how to write
the next chapter, but the fire rolling in my heart
will speak for every thought
and haze that has pushed me this far.

I'm into questioning in poems, a lot. The beginning is very enticing, and I like the whole scenery, of both being friends, but you're not able to tell him that you love him for real.. and so, the love will stay concealed, and you can't find a way to let it be.. revealed.
    epic!
