A Tune For The Broken.

The harsh slam of the door

Vibrates around the walls

and echoes through the floor boards

As He walks away forever

And my heart is splattered on the floor

It is so hard to believe I was once whole

Because right now I'm torn in two.

    You can say so much in just a few lines.
    This is beautiful and quite moving, I actually just cried a little (lol) I can imagine being that woman stood in the middle of the room as he walks away forever whilst my heart shatters in two from this. Yes, I've been many times before but you write about t so well as always. As I've said before you have a way with words.
