Passed Judgment

by xoxShorteexox   Jan 2, 2012

You've looked me over from head to toe,
passing judgment without a second thought
that maybe, there's more than meets the eye,
for even a fly is more than meets the eye.

You gave a slight point of your finger into my direction,
as if I wasn't worth more of your time than that,
if you would have been someone with a wand,
I'd have probably be turned into the frog you seem to see.

Each glare and roll of your eyes land upon me,
so full of the hatred of the youthful appearance I still have,
the one that you seem to have lost in the years of petty talk and liars,
you managed your drama queen demeanor over the years.

You believe beauty is on the outside painted on,
when I believe it's on the inside showing out,
so go back to painting your lips on, darling,
you passed your judgment and now I passed mine.

I once wrote a poem of "self righteousness" how others place judgment of other when their life is shambles.

I found a lot of wisdom in this, written with a sharp tool of truth Excellent
