This poem hits home for me and I relate to it quite well.
I do not know, you've got your way with words and in this piece it showed so very well. Your poems flows so smoothly and one can actually picture the speaker experiencing these things as they read along, I for my part felt like I was the speaker. The emotions are so strong and captivating; they literally overwhlemed me. At first I had thought that the protagonist is going through a break up but I realized it's way worse than that. Heart-wrenching, but beautifully written poem.
