My Saving Grace

by Candace   Jan 2, 2012

My sadness overwelmed me,
I look at the scars on my wrist,
thinking about
the one whom I miss.

I love you so much,
but you left me alone,
to fend for myself
while I moan and groan

Then came a thought.
I can't live without you.
I step up onto my chair,
knowing what I should do.

The rope around my neck,
in a hang-mans knot.
I think of you smiling,
as my last thought

My thought became reality,
as he came into the room.
he swept me off my feet,
saving me from my doom.

He said "I love you Candy,
Don't you ever forget that!"
On the bed,
on which me sat.

I look at him,
confused at what he said.
If he did not come,
I probably would be dead.

I sit there staring,
at my saving grace;
I sit there staring
at his wonderful face.

You are my love;
You are my meth,
because you saved me from,
my living death.
