I love your metaphors. Comparing a heart to a broken vase I found very creative and I'm quite jealous I've never done that in one of my poems. I thought that was awesome!!

I see you often get inspired by quotes, i get inspired by life circumstances, but I will have to give what you do a try.

Yaki- I loved this poem so much!!! I miss reading your poetry, and happy I could read this new one. Your writing has some deep character to it- I like the way it flows, and how the first stanza portrays such emotion about this situation. The image there is heartbreaking, because while you are selfless, he uses you. That sacrificing gift of live- the beauty of breathing in and out- is torn downl. The metaphor of the vase was so simple, but it had such strength- especially how you came out with the honesty and truth of the matter- that there may be nothing to hold you two together anymore. What an impacting poem, makes ya think with only a few words to describe a great deal of this brokeness. I hope you aren't feeling like this- just think of hope and where it is :)

The metaphors in this poem is wonderful.

Such a sad poem full of emotions and heartache

The first stanza is beautiful - to say that you gave them your air was to say that you gave them your entire life - your everything

You put the relationship back together (glued) and time and time again the relationship breaks down. Eventually you will have put everything in it with nothing left to give.

Everyone has a breaking point and you may have found yours by the end of the poem
