Wow amazing I loved and enjoyed this greatly written poem :) 5/5

Yaki, this was so incredible. I was not expecting the ending and it was so delicate and beautiful....it made my heart soar. The content, the soul of that person means a lot because she never gave up on you, through everything- disagreements and just life.

Oh when I read the first few stanzas I thought this poem was about two different lovers.

As I read on the ending blew me away - it was like a final twist in a movie.

I enjoyed this read and though this was an amazing poem.

So apparently all my nominations are going to you this week, because you're kicking poetic ass. This is one of the best I have read from you. Such maturity, such understanding, such clarity throughout the entire message. This poem was so strong and one that I wish many girls, especially teenagers, could read and truly grasp. We're our own worst critics. I love this part:

"simply because
she deserved it..

to thank her,
for never giving up on me. "

The flow was flawless, and the wording simple but the effect it had was outstanding.
I loved the ending, such an awesome way to end, with that final acceptance, and confidence.
