Perspectives

by Poet on the Piano   Jan 6, 2012

Some things fly at me with a lonely force,
and I don't know how to react other than
stuff my hands in my pocket-
walking on to be unnoticed.

Other angles are more sharp, not always
clear, but able to followed,
made reality and eventually
accepted.

When I make that decision to let
you into my life,
I will smile at the perspective
of happiness you've found....
somewhere I never
used to be.

I love the feel of this poem. It's a different feel than your other poems, this has a bit of sadness but content also.. it's kind of hard to explain the tone I felt.

I love your first stanza and how well crafted it was packed with great imagery. Love that first line about the lonely force, I thought that was really interesting! :)
