Why do you impose self shame and punishment? How can you ever get where you want to go without accepting where you are right now? Your attempts to fix and perfect are only temporary until you accept your humanness and accept God's love. Do not condone your sin, but come to acceptance that you are human and that you are made perfect in his love. For only after acceptance of his love can he begin to work through you.
