Blossom

by Tangerine   Jan 7, 2012

Soft petals gathered by the breeze
Swaying tenderly with such ease
They dance and sing their lullaby
As I unhurriedly pass by

They create their own melody
With great wonder and symphony
The sun smiles at each gentle bud
Earth cradles them like they're her cubs

As I look at the wild flowers
They seem to giggle with much glee
All of their sweet-smelling scents mix
As the air touches their plump cheeks

Once they have reached their full color
Bees will suck them with all ardor
Then their wonder will fade slowly
Leaving only pleasant memories.
